Momma bea

Momma knows best

About Me

My name is Beata but most people call me Bea (pronounced B) :)
I'm married to my best friend, Luke, my high school sweetheart.  We have been together 20 years (This Sept. 2016) and been married over 16 years.  We got married SUUUPER young, I was 20 and he was 19.  But hey, we made it....it was a rough ride, not always fun and games, but this is what made us so strong today.  Our relationship is stronger than ever and it's growing stronger and stronger.  We had a baby before we got married, YEP, at 19 I became a mom and my then boyfriend became a dad, at 18!  The thing is that we already lived together, so it's not like I was a stupid teenager running around with a bunch of guys and brought a baby for my mother to raise because I had no idea what to do with it.  We had our little basement apartment in Chicago, in my high school senior year, I just turned 18.
Right before our son, Robert, arrived into this beautiful, crazy, busy world we moved into a slightly bigger apartment.  3 years later we had another baby boy, we named him Alex.  We decided to find a bigger place to live since the apartment was getting smaller for 4 of us, so we bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago.  Life was BUSY....holy cow, life was really BUSY!!!  My husband, the entrepreneur, he is feaking gifted...and I'm not kidding you.  You give this man an ice cube, he will find a way to melt it, make more ice cubes and sell them (most likely to an Eskimo!).  His resume could go on forever...and this guy never finished high school, never proceeded to get his GED, he is too busy making the best life for us we could have.  So after working in warehouses, being a helper to a fireplace installer, then managed to get onto the sales floor and became a sales manager, brought in more profits that this store has ever seen and then he went on to owning his (our) own fireplace store.  The same year he signed papers to be an owner of the fireplace shop, I gave birth to our 3rd son, Casper.  Things were going great, until economy struck us real bad and we had to get rid of everything, including the business, cars, and the house..... :(
What did we do?? Man without a high school diploma, momma who finished high school but is tied up to raising 3 kiddos.  We packed up the truck and we went West.... all the way to California!!!  Things were rough....real rough...we never gave up though.  Always smiling for the kids though :)  We were in Cali for only few months, things were slowly picking up with work for my husband, in a meanwhile I found a job to be a family and personal assistant...and then we get another hit....my husbands grandfather passed away (his grandpa was the only father figure he ever had).  Grandpa was in Chicago so we had to drive back for the funeral.  We were coming back with few bucks in our pockets, but we just never gave up, we kept on going.  Soon after a miracle happened...my husband got swamped with handyman jobs, fireplace jobs....it was unbelievable, but we knew it was grandpa watching over us.  I've quit my job 3.5 years later as I needed to help out with what we call now, a FAMILY business.
Ever since I could remember I always looked into home remedies to heal anyone or fix anything.
